The problem

Challenges after go-live

Employees find workarounds because Public Cloud is too complex.

S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is live. It is the new way of working, and the business is often not getting the value it expected. The standard apps still do not reach the floor.

Employees implement workarounds. Shop floor teams use Excel. Inventory is tracked on paper and updated at end of shift, only to balance the numbers rather than give your sales team visibility.

Inventory losses accumulate. Finished goods sit in warehouses past their expiry date. Batches that could have been sold or redirected to promotions are written off instead.

Procurement breaks down: stockouts from inventory gaps, no vendor evaluation trail, and no way to trace a defective raw material batch back to its source. Delivery and goods receipt errors cascade into missed payments, and at scale vendors begin to withdraw service or pursue litigation. Last minute off-contract purchases and emergency orders become the norm.
